I would like to remember to you that Florence and Pompei can be reached with only 2 hours by train from Rome that's why many guest usually stay more
than 3 days (the minimum time to visit Rome)
just to can do these two daily tours (my
place could be a good "base" to go around to visit many other cities(Italy
is little and distances not very big). The
train arrive just in the centre of Florence
and its historic centre is little,not big
like Rome,so that you could have a very good
idea of Florence even if you will stay only
one day! The same is for Pompei,the train arrive to the station of Naples
and than you can take a confortable bus to
reach Pompei in half hour! after,the tour
is long around 2 and half hour around the
archeologich site so that you could be back
in Rome very confortable in the evening.
They are both great tours to do as a "daily"-tour,very confortable to do and to came back
here in Rome in the evening,it's impossible
to loose that possibility if you should came
to italy!!.
There are also others two tours very nice
but that places can be reached by train with only half hour so that I will be happy
to speak about them when you will be in Rome!
